On the occasion of the Global Day of Action on September 21 in time for the Martial Law commemoration in the Philippines, the Belgium-Korea Friendship Association expresses its solidarity with the struggle of the Filipino people for freedom, democracy, development and peace, against the terrorism and tyranny of the Duterte regime. This regime exposed its servility towards US imperialism and its bloodthirsty character, involving the mass murder of poor people of the cities and the countryside as “drug dealers” or “rebel suspects”, suppressing critics from many sectors of society and designating the Communist Party of the Philippines and the New People’s Army as “terrorists”.
The Belgium-Korea Friendship Association supports the broad united front against the Duterte regime in its anti-imperialist, national democratic struggle.
Long Live International Solidarity!
