On 29 July 2012 people in Japan surrounded Japan’s parliament building to show their protest against nuclear power plants, following after the big rally on 16 July in Tokyo. Tens of thousands people joined the action.

This is a video with English subtitle about that anti-nuke action. Tens of thousands of anti nuclear power protesters formed a human chain around Japan’s parliament building in Nagatacho, Tokyo.

The police attempted to herd them into a narrow strip, but this naturally backfired. People’s protest against nuclear power plants still have momentum even after the reactivation of idled reactors.
