Campaign for Peace & Democracy (Manipur)
Campaign for Peace & Democracy condemned the forced eviction perpetrated by the Government of Manipur in Sangakpham area on 13 May 2013. The act fully reflected the use of colonial Land Acquisition Act 1894 to serve the capital interest of contractors (including the owners of excavators) and bureaucratic manipulation.

In recent years, resource extraction has intensified under the Harper government in Canada, as capitalist profit-making is increasingly "fueled" by the rape and plunder of the land and its resources, especially the ancestral lands of Indigenous peoples.
As part of its work to defend land defenders and build people's power, the ILPS-Canada Commission in Support of Indigenous People's Struggles is supporting grassroots women from the Ojibway Nation of Saugeen located in northwestern Ontario, Canada.

Under the multiple crisis that are hitting international monopoly capitalist system, their effort to revive from the crises is to shift the burden to working peoples shoulders.

In 1886, 127 years ago, European immigrant workers marched in Chicago to demand an eight hour work day. The massacre and execution of trade unionists that followed has been commemorated every year since, in almost every corner of the world on May 1st -- International Workers Day.

We stand side by side with the workers! Labour Day is a day when people from all around the whole world march on the streets to win workers’ rights. The Netherlands’ chapter of the International League of Peoples' Struggle calls on its member organisations to join the initiatives which are taken by democratic organisations and political parties in different cities, among others Rotterdam, Amsterdam and The Hague.

The Indonesian Peoples Alliance (IPA), a wide alliance of mass and civil society organizations, strongly condemned the government of SBY-Boediono who, through its apparatus, Large City Police in Surabaya, dispersed and arrested activists for staging a manifestation against the annual meeting of APEC trade ministers (Surabaya, April 20 to 21) and trade liberalization agenda. This action has further exposed the government of Indonesia as stooges of the international monopoly capitalist power, so the view of Adityo Ario, Managing Director of the Institute for National and Democracy Studies (INDIES).
