Chairperson, International League of Peoples' Struggle
We, the International League of Peoples' Struggle, are in firm solidarity with the Korean people and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and support their current struggle in defense of national sovereignty and territorial integrity against the war provocations and nuclear threats being made by US imperialism.
We condemn in the strongest terms the continuing US military control over South Korea, the constant nuclear weapons in US military bases and aircraft carriers and the joint military exercises of the US and the South Korean puppet government. All these violate the national sovereignty of the Korean people, threaten the DPRK and run counter to the desire of the Korean people for peaceful reunification.

In nearly two weeks that have followed the 10th anniversary of the start of the US war of aggression against Iraq on March 19, 2003, the officialdom and corporate media of the US and the UK have played up the issue of whether the war was caused by inaccurate or wrong military intelligence or whether the war was a matter of choice or necessity.

As many as 30 civil society organizations under the banner of the newly established Indonesian People’s Alliance (IPA) plan to voice the unsung-aspirations of Indonesian grassroot communities at the numerous international high-level conferences in Bali this year.
The International League of Peoples' Struggle is an international formation of more than 350 organizations from 40 countries promoting, supporting and developing the anti-imperialist struggles of the peoples of the world. It has a broad mass character and not subordinate to any political party, government or religion and affords equality to all participating organizations. It strives to realize the unity, cooperation and coordination of anti-imperialist and democratic struggles throughout the world.
