Australia calls for social protection in support of the Global Day of Solidarity for Public Health

Several ILPS member organizations in Australia such as Spirit of Eureka, Unitarian Church- East Melbourne and Philippines Australia Solidarity Association (PASA) called for social protection and bailouts for farmers, working class and toiling masses in time for the Global Day of Solidarity for Public Health not Private Profit initiated by ILPS.

As COVID-19 wreaks havoc in more than 200 countries all over the world, ILPS Australia reiterates that bailouts should not be for big corporations and billionaires. They stressed that peoples’ health must come first before profit.
